Intake Question

just a late night thought
OK.....I know the whole intake thing has been batted around on this board about whether or not is good or pointless to buy. My question was.......Im running a stage four upgrade from turbo xs with a front mount and so on. I was on arospeed's website the other day and i came across and "twin turbo" filter system shown here areopseed twin filter system . My thought is that even though supposedly it is for a twin turbo car wouldnt this help my scooby. My thought behind it is that it brings in more air and more air is more power. This is just a thought i had.......dont know if it would be theasable or even worth it. Just a late night thought

couple of things stand out here...
1. this is a dress up part, not a performance part. it's purpose is to make your car appear to have a twin turbo setup.
2. if your car is running lean, you really shouldn't screw with the intake at all. the ECU is calibrated around the diameter of the MAF housing that comes with your car. smaller diameter - car runs richer. larger diameter - car runs leaner. your turbo with the stock airbox will do an ample job of sucking in enough air. if you're lean, get your engine management tuned.

Thanks for the replies guys.....I have figured out why my car is running alittle on lean side and it was fixed today on the dyno. I now have 412 whp after the kinks were figured out. I wasnt really thinking of doing this mod......just wanted to see what everyone thought about it and if it would help or not considering the huge intake debate. Thanks again for the replies.
