Like Hp diff, quality do both have a bell moth design? And are bot h good products? I was leaning more to the Helix because of cost effectiveness and the fact that I have the cash to purchase it now vs having to wait another month or 2 to get the perrin.

 

Helix has a bellmouth, the Perrin has a divorsed wastegate pipe (seperate tube)

Helix - $295ish
Perrin - catless $430, with cat $570 (ouch)

I'm willing to bet my first born that there is no different in Horsepower.

There are cheaper solutions out there...

I understand that some may get hung up on the cost of the Perrin downpipe compared to other choices. Keep in mind that the Perrin part is made from 304 stainless steel, uses 1/2" flanges, has the wastegate divorced and includes a WARRANTY! Many of the other choices do not have any type of warranty against anything. Mild steel downpipes may perform equally for a period of time but they will quickly develop rust problems and require replacing. The thinner flanges on lesser models will also cause problems with gasket distortion and leaks. I am not trying to argue that more expensive always equals better quality and performance. However in this case you truly get what you pay for. If anyone has any questions regarding any of the Perrin brand products feel free to contact me directly!

Thanks for posting on here. I think it speak very highly of you to defend your products. If money was no object then the Perrin downpipe would be at the top of my list. I still have to say "ouch" to the price tag though. Sorry.

 

I also must say that Perrin is a VERY high quality Up/Downpipe!

AND.....I had my CEL fix lost during shipping and Adam at Perrin got it to me in a couple days, No questions asked!

And..You can call them and ALWAYS get answers to any questions you need on their products! (including when your stumped with a prob in install/or other!)

Im happy I paid more FOR more!!
