HKS Exhaust connected to stock downpipe
I have to take off my parts for my warrenty issue I have right now, and I was trying to connect my stock downpipe back to my HKS catback, well I really couldn't do much moving without the car on a lift and I had to go, but right now it looks like my HKS exhaust won't bolt up???? I'm pretty baffled right now, to I kinda have to force it back together or what? need some info
Thanks,
Raymond

It should work fine. And Mandy's (AzN121184, weird that's a guys name, eh?) leaks because he doesn't know anything about cars.

esracer: the stock donut gasket makes bolting up the midpipe a pain because it doesn't fit inside the pipe like the stock midpipe.. you have to squash those springs too much.
lol, I don't know much about cars either.
I just helped a friend install a HKS Carbon-Ti catback and it leaks at the stock donut gasket. All of his other exhaust parts are stock, and the included HKS gasket didn't look like it would have fit.
Did I do something wrong?
