Does AccessPORT need to be permanently connected to ECU?

Does AccessPORT need to be permanently connected to ECU?

hi guys, one question. after i programed my ecu. do i need to keep that huge access port inside the car and keep connecting to the ecu? cuz i saw some post here and people saying where they should put the ap at. question

I don't think so. As I understand it, once you flash the ECU, that's it. You don't need to reconnect it each time. If you have the AP2 though, there is some pretty neat things you can do with it.

Nope no need to keep it connected. Flash and pick which map you want to run.

another question. is there any map that set for save gas? just a dumb question. but its my daily drive so want to get the gas mileage up.....

^ Not worth it.

The off the shelf map for the stage 2 is a pretty mild tune. Just gotta learn how to control your gas pedal =)

If you want to save gas just go back to stock.
