hks carbon ti fitment issue
I tried installing my HKS carbon Ti catback on my 02 wrx last night. But i found that the piping doesnt fully connect to the stock cat. Its bolted on but the screws do not go all the way in so there is a leak. Does anyone know if it is supposed to bolt on to the stock cat? or how can i fix this so it fits perfectly? Thx

Iono dude, it was bolted onto my helix Dp perfectly fine. Iono what's up with that stock piping, I know a bunch of guys who bolted it right onto the stock piping, maybe try new bolts or something? The ones I gave you should have been fine.. might want to try to get another 3inch donut gasket, maybe that'll work.

Yeah, this gasket need to come off when you install pretty much any catback system. It is on the catalytic converter extension and you just need to pop it off with a screwdriver.
