A minute is a long time! get up to 130mph and start the stopwatch. i'd almost guarantee you won't make a minute. think about it. you'd be traveling 2.17miles a minute. if you were to go for 10minutes you'd have gone 21.70 miles!

on that note i don't think you have anything to worry about in regard to hurting your car. just don't do it too often and you should be okay.

EDIT: as for the noise it's most likely wind force. most jumbo jets take off at similar speeds so do the math. the faster you go the force of the wind will double and double and double. This is why your car slows down so drastically from higher speeds because of drag.

it's kinda like jumping into a pool, you just go into the water. But try jumping off a tall bridge and the water turns to concrete, SPLAT!
