So does the car feel slow? If anything your gauge MAY be off. Or you have a leak somewhere.
I know someone who threw a 02-03 TD04 into a 04-05 and it didn't boost properly due to the settings of the wastegate.
What other mods are you running?

You should be hitting more than that though. I don't use sport comp. So I'm no help there.

Thanks Anyways Heedz.. Yah i know i was hittn 12psi before i replaced the turbo. I was thinking this new and low mileage turbo was gonna hit harder and better than my last one. Guess i got some more investigation to doo.

Hey Guys so just an update to my issue here.. I finally found out what i needed to do to regain my stock psi back to 12. I needed to replace the actuator from the 2.5L to my original 2.0L and that fixed my boost issue! Thanks again for the help and suggestions guys!
I'm curious why you didn't do this when I told you to earlier?
Also "setting" the actuator was not to do exactly 6 half turns. That video was for a different turbo. You needed to continue to go tighter until you reached proper boost. Start at 6 half turns, and then go 7, 8, 9, etc... until boost is correct. This would have had the same effect as swapping the actuator.
Move your wastegate actuator from your original turbo, unless there's something wrong with it.

So to catch up on things with this thread i have adjusted my wastegate arm to go the shortest as possible and im still not getting the stock boost. im at 9 now from like 5psi. Bigger difference but of course it could be better. Anyone know any suggestions i can try to fix that? Thank guys in advance!
