just installed a greddy electronic boost gauge into my 02 wrx, the gauge lights up but i get no reading...the needle does not move at all...could the gauge be bad or is it the sensor

 

did u hook the vaccum line up correctly? no crimp or sharp bends anywhere? also, where did u tap for the vaccum line?

 

i tapped the line from the bov and there doesn't appear to be any crimps or sharp bends

 

ok, so are you getting power? wha's the gauge doing? is it only lighting up? what's the meter doing? it's kinda hard to diagnose thru here........

 

i double checked the wiring and everything seems to be getting power...the gauge will light up when the headlights are switched on, but the needle doesn't move at all, it points just to the right of the 736mmHg mark

 

well, sound like you got everything hooked up correctly

i'm going to have to guess that you got a bad gauge, but like i said, it's kinda hard to make a good judgement call from the internet
