HELP!!! cel PO508.idle circuit low?
Alright, I have a turboxs mbc, turboxs bov, helix uppipe and downpipe, and just recently got an accessport. I put on stage 2 91 octane...oregon gas.... and then about 2 hours later when i cold started it the cel code came on, i tried clearing it, it didnt work. It jsut came right back. The idle goes up and down from 1700-2200 very jerky, also when i try to go past 5k rpm in first gear the fuel cut defender comes on...and i get a big jerk back in my seat....whats wrong????
Im not saying I know that the MBC is the culprit but I do know that you shouldnt be useing the MBC now that you are running Cobb stage 2. The stage 2 map will up the boost for you.

I still think you will need to get rid of the MBC but I dont know for sure. Here is a link to Cobb's discussion forum http://www.wrxforum.com/cgi-bin/ulti...ubb=forum;f=11 I'm sure someone there will be able to help you out and if not Cobb's customer service is great so you could just call em up.

I would call Cobb or your AccessPort tuner ASAP. That is VERY wrong. Sound like fuel is really messed up. You're idle is really rough and I'd bet those problems above 5krpm is bad knock.

Did you mean to say that you removed the MBC? If you did remove it what are your boost levels now? Just curious since it seems to me that a lot of the people haveing target boost problems with Cobb reflashes have had a mbc on their car before the reflash. I was haveing problems hitting target boost with my Cobb 93 oct stage 1 untill I went with the HWG map.

I was running around 12.5 when I flashed stage one and Cobb told me that the ecu wouldnt be able to learn to add that much boost so I flashed the hwg map and instantly hit 14.3ish. If you continue to have problems after hwg map you may want to try adjusting the wastegate arm. The link I posted above has some good info on fixes for low boost problems. Keep us posted on how things turn out and good luck.

AHHHH!!! it came back, could the culprit be the bov? i remember having to adjust the bov with spacers when i originally bought it to get the idle to be smooth, now that i have a up/down pipe i prob need to tune it again? i dont know, this is pissing me off.
