Im not saying I know that the MBC is the culprit but I do know that you shouldnt be useing the MBC now that you are running Cobb stage 2. The stage 2 map will up the boost for you.

I would call Cobb or your AccessPort tuner ASAP. That is VERY wrong. Sound like fuel is really messed up. You're idle is really rough and I'd bet those problems above 5krpm is bad knock.

Did you mean to say that you removed the MBC? If you did remove it what are your boost levels now? Just curious since it seems to me that a lot of the people haveing target boost problems with Cobb reflashes have had a mbc on their car before the reflash. I was haveing problems hitting target boost with my Cobb 93 oct stage 1 untill I went with the HWG map.

I was running around 12.5 when I flashed stage one and Cobb told me that the ecu wouldnt be able to learn to add that much boost so I flashed the hwg map and instantly hit 14.3ish. If you continue to have problems after hwg map you may want to try adjusting the wastegate arm. The link I posted above has some good info on fixes for low boost problems. Keep us posted on how things turn out and good luck.
