Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Have Cobb AP and VF29 - does it compare with the VF34?

Have Cobb AP and VF29 - does it compare with the VF34?

I posted this twice since I wasn't sure which one would allot me the most assistance.

Alright guys, I need some help. 1st thing: Street racing is not not cool and I don't think you should do it. Okay, here's the scoop.

what do I need to do? My WRX has defenitely had work done on it. I have a COBB reflash for a VF34, but I'm running a VF29, will the 34 make that much of a difference? I have STI Pink Injectors, CB Exhaust, down pipe, up pipe, headers, CAI, suspension work, Boost EVC at 19lbs(?) already...what are my options? Need help ASAP so I can start working on it.

The STi 6MT is a good swap but a cost effective option is the RA gears.

STi RA gear set has a closer ratio spread than the factory 5MT. Cryogenic treatment is popular right now and makes the gears very durable. Will fit in the 5MT tranny case but must be professionally installed.

Close ratio gear sets keep the engine in the sweeter part of the power band after each shift for harder acceleration.

Crossposting to multiple forums is unnecessary and discouraged. I've edited your post because street racing stories are not allowed on i-Club, no matter what disclaimer you include along with it. Next time please omit the street racing references - you don't need it to ask a technical question.
