I know here in CT 96 and newer cars do not have a tailpipe test. The tester hooks up to your ECU and reads to make sure all emissons parts are working correctly.
I was wondering if anyone had been through this with aftermarket parts, such as reflashed ECU and exhaust systems.
Or do you think the ECU will read a modified exhaust as being a faulty exhuast?
thanks

If you aren't throwing a P0420 CEL, your exhaust should pass. Is there a visual inspection to accompany the OBDII test? If not, heck, you could even get away with running catless.
