I have teh JGT500, catless. This exhaust shakes the neighborhood, my wife hears me a block away from the house. . Very quiet at idle and 5th. the rest of the time forget about it. Very good quality..nice stampings, easy to install mainly because of the floating flange, that mates with the stock cat or aftermarket dp.

Do you think if you put your silencer on, it would make a difference with your catless setup ?

it is only, I will be getting the Espelir JGT500 exhaust but I will have all cats on

1. if I drive without silencer, will it be THAT loud???

2. I will still gain some HP with the silencer in correct?

3. replacing the downpipe will get rid of a cat, correct?

thanx guys~!

1. Yes, I've heard... but only really when you get on it. Then again, most exhausts are like that.

2. Of course you'll gain some HP but not hte full amount you would as without hte silencer.

3. Replacing the downpipe will replace 1 cat, unless it's a Helix/PDE/Perrin/etc. type unit and it will replace the DP cat + stock 3rd cat. The ones that replace only one cat are Stromung (i have it), scoobysport, and bosal.
