Question on UP & Downpipe?

Question on UP & Downpipe?
I'm not sure if this is been talked about, but anyway: After I intalled the up and downpipe, do I need any kind of ECU device like UTEC, S-AFC or etc to adjust A/F? Or I can just drive around like that and still have performance gain. Please advice.

Some people say that it is not good on an otherwise stock '04. I was catless without EM on my '04 and didn't notice anything terrible, but I stayed out of boost almost all the time until my EM came in just to be safe. If you have an '04 or '05 I would go ahead and get the EM.

Yeah you will be fine driving it without em. You ussually will gain about 30whp just form adding exhaust and then i gained another 20whp from getting em. You wont get the full benefit of the mods without em. I recomend Ecutek.
