A lot of people like oil pressure, but in my opinion it's not needed. Once your OP drops, the motor is toast anyway. You just know about it sooner.
I would recommend an oil or coolant temp guage instead.

depends...self tuning or not. If so, I'd recommend a lot (typically to include fuel pressure, boost and EGT) or at least a wide band O2 sensor. If someone else is doing the tuning (assuming you're modded) I'd get a boost gauge and that really should do it. I like the sleeper look (with the exception of my coffee can sized muffler tip on my Hyper exhaust) and prefer to go with fewer gaugese and have someone else do the tuning. And, how many do you want....

ic, thanks guys for all the help. But i was told to get electrical gauges? Sorry i'm a n00b, can someone tell me what is the pro to getting an electrical one? i've done a little checking up and it says it's got stuff like, peak boost? and stuff like that? can some give me further information on what those exactly do?
The recommendation is probably in reference to getting electrical gauges versus mechanical. With a mechanical gauge, you run the measured medium to the gauge. . .so if you were measuring oil temp or pressure, you would run a hose with oil to the gauge in the cabin. If the hose breaks, you've got oil all over the cabin now. With electrical, there is a sending unit in the engine compartment that converts the measurement in to an electrical signal and sends that to the gauge in the cabin.
Some feel that electrical gauges aren't as accurate as mechanical, but to be honest with you, it's probably very negligible if any at all of a difference. I would recommend electrical for all gauges except boost, where you can go either way.

does anyone know if the 60 mm defi BF series will fit on the a-pillar, the reason i dont want it in the center is because i am thinking of just getting boost + egt and i want to reserve the clock area for my cd player since i'll be mounting something else in the original cd area.
