i hit fuel cuttoff today in 3rd gear... felt like i downshifted into second and dropped the clutch. could i perhaps have done a little harm? manual boost controllers and temperature change are a b****!!!

 

dude...turn your boost down...it's DANGEROUS to run that much boost. if you hit it in 3rd gear...check to make sure it is still connected. mine popped off even w/ a zip tie, and i had to use a different size vaccuum line. It was a ***** to get on the MBC, but i finally did. the compressor and actuator side are smaller than the usual inlet/outlets for the MBC, so they can slide off easily.

 

well i was running 16psi, but the weather change upped it a little too high, obviously. does the actual action of fuel cutoff harm the engine or turbo?
