Be nice to get ride of that aerodynamic horror. The Aqua reverse scoop looks good and works well, but the fit and finish is poor. What have you guys done? How ghetto does it look to roll with a big hole in your hood.?

Not too bad. I did the hole in the hood thing, but then I got the Kaminari hood for aerodynamic/asthetic reasons.

Which FMIC did you go with?

No real problems. I was worried about water entering the electrical systems in the engine bay. My biggest problem was that of fear. Fear of the Po Po if you know what I mean. Maybe some black mesh on the underside of the hood is in order. This would allow it to be less "conspicuious", shall we say

That MRT FMIC is awesome. I saw one on Gary's car down in Pasadena (WRXmotorworks.com) has that one. Very nice, and very $$$ blingage! It is my favorite.

The scoop will direct air into the bay and presurize the bay. It will achieve the opposite.
