Hi all,

I have an 02 WRX and below is a list my current performance mods, but the question is that I am looking to add an FMIC then add an aftermarket turbo later.

TXS stage 2 (Unichip, turboback exhaust, MBC set at 15 PSI)
TXS catless UPPIPE

I want to add an APS D/R 500 FMIC and APS CAI to my car, but was wondering if it would produce negative results with the stock turbo. I do plan to upgrade the turbo/engine management, but not at this time.

Please let me know what all of your opinions are and thanks

 

Your not going to get any negative results by adding a FMIC to your car, its better. Its position is way more efficient than a top mount. If lag is what your thinking then dont worry its not bad at all, as a matter of fact you probably wont even notice any lag differences. Good luck.

Come on guys I know there has to be more people with an FMIC with a factory turbo atleast a temp setup.

Ok, so I thought of a more specific question to ask......

Will the setup I describe cause me to run lean?
