blitz intake for sale
hey is that still for sale im loking for intake and i was wondering how that blitz works. does it lean the mixture alot? im in utah. and i run 91. ive got the utec stage 1 till tomorrow when ill install my new xcceleration 3" (polished) down and mid pipe with my allready installed hks carbon ti and ill run stage 2. (i had to throw the polished part in with that. im still exited about having something that is shiney under my muddy car) ive heard that alot of intakes lean that car too much. is this true and if so which ones are the best intakes to use? i heard unifilter ffomr one place then vivid told me they suck. whats the scoop? where could i find some dynos on this?

I dont have dyno's on this but I do have the math!
the "WRX Training Guide" by Nick Warne is a great reference
in it, it breaks down all the gass equations that are used to calculate the difference in benifits from CAI and POD intakes
long story short the "cold air" has to be more than 35 degrees F cooler than the under hood air to just break even with the performance gains of a POD intake (because a pod intake has better flow)
I actualy really like the MRT RAM-POD intake and it's cheaper than most CAI...
or if you're like me and dont like spending money you could go under your car and remove the air box resonator and build a plastic "trumpet" to improve the flow
