I just got myself a 2002 WRX white wagon. Its fun as hell! I love the car, but I know that this thing has so much more in it. So... Im wondering what I should do...

Although I'm not sure if the Cobb AP base maps will work with headers installed. You should double check with Cobb just in case.

Get an Ecutek instead of the AP.

 

my bro just ordered his Borla Hush cat-back, with the Helix Up/Down pipe all from Gruppe-s from something around $1100. As far as install goes, i think it cost around $4-500 for that. I heard somewhere in this forum that headers won't make too much of a difference until u get deeper into the engine or get a turbo upgrade.

I have the Gruppe-S header and love it, and my tuner loves the power it makes !

I would go with the gruppe-s v2 headers, helix catless dp, borla hush exhuast (ask for the 3" adapter the will know what it means) and your choice for the up pipe (it is just a 20" hollow pipe).

All of this stuff is pretty easy bolt on stuff except for the uppipe which is just a pain in the butt. If you have a basic metric socket set a jack and some jack stands you can do all of this stuff in an afternoon. Well, maybe find some one to do the uppipe. Anyways, really it is easy, most of the installs are located at www.scoobymods.com

take the money you saved on the install and go for a vf34, sti pink injectors and a walbro 255 fuel pump and now you are having fun!

The ecutek engine management is great but every time you do a major upgrade you should have a re-flash done, re-flashes run about 150-175 plus dyno time. If

I were to do it all over I might buy all of the parts, install what I could and then have a pro install the rest and have it tuned.
