Exhaust Manifold Leak?
This is a picture of my passenger side exhaust manifold. There seems to be some blackness where the manifold meets the engine. Does this look like a possible exhaust leak to anyone?
Thanks,
Chris

Forget it. There wasn't a leak between the manifold and engine, but there was a huge one between the manifold and uppipe! I started it up and could feel the air blowing out on the fender side of the uppipe. I stuffed two gaskets in there and retightened everything. It's not leaking (for now).

if it leaks you can hear a major difference in sound... i dont know what mods you have done to your car but usually when your leaking from your manifold itll sound like you have up/down pipe and cat back exhaust... REALLY LOUD!!! so thats one sign of leakage... but best way to find out is to go to dealer and use your warrenty to have it checked out...

Peter,
I guess I should have stated my mods. I've got a TXS uppipe, TXS turbo back (no cats), TXS TMIC, UR600 injectors, FP18G, UTEC, etc. so the dealer won't be giving me too much love. The reason I didn't suspect the uppipe was the fact that it really wasn't that loud, but there was definately a lot of air blowing out between the uppipe and the manifold.
Thanks,
Chris
