Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Check what exhaust would be better for you. Turbo back ? Cat back ? Looking for serious horsepower ? Looking for good sound ? Do some research on the subject at the review section here at I-club or go to www.subarureview.com.

Good Luck

what are you trying to do .. if sleeper i would recommend the greedy evo .. and borla hush, if your going for the loud and badass look. blitz nur spec .. which gives and aproixmate 11whp .. and is the most power you can get from a cat back ... tho the difference between the best and the worst is only about 1-3 whps ... also the helix catback and the hks carbon titanum or hi-power's good too ... both are a bit expansive .. i've got a borla hush on my 04 rex .. it's not exactly hush .. buh definately better than the nur spec .. i like it the hush a lot cause you can hear the spool of the turbo a lot better..

I have the stromung single tip turbo back. I love it. Looks very stock and is quiet on the highway but screams and sounds mean when you want it. I have heard louder but i love my stromung. Top quality fit and finish. I also have an 04'.

I have the Fujitsubo Legalis Super R. Not too loud but it sounds like a damn beast under accel. Its a great one piece 3.2inch exhaust and it looks sick too. Only drawbacks are that it requires a JDM downpipe and you usually have to get one from japan which could take a while. Its also around the same price as an HKS or tanabe, i paid $825 with shipping so its not that bad.
