possibly a bent/dropped valve
if the valve was bent it would bleed off pressure, but still should read something? could also explain white smoke, but I also think that white is coolant. blue for oil, black for fuel and white for coolant if I remeber correctly? Any mixing of oil/coolant that may suggest head/head gasket leak?

headgasket or hole in piston (not cracked ring land) or bent valve. is there coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant? do a leakdown test and listen for where the leak is.
