I know a couple of us guys on wrxforum have talked about doing something very similar, so I thought I would sketch it up and have it open for disscussion. This should pass the sniffer but how would the police react with the visual inspection?

Also this should be legal because your not actually touching the cats. Thoughts?

 

The inside diameter of the pipe would be changing so much I don't know what that would do for exhaust flow.
