EJ20TT question
I have a question as to the location of the turbo's on the JDM twin turbo legacies. I may soon be aquiring a JDM S401wreck with engine, tranny, and pretty much everything (see my post in Legacy section) Anyways, my hope is that I could modify the twin turbo set up to fit the LHD set up, so heres my questions:
1. Is it a sequential twin turbo set up? As in, is it one turbo after another on the same pipe?
2. What other parts would need to be modifed to make the engine fit?
Sorry if those are jumbled thoughts as I am sick and my brain isnt working too well.
Cheers

Yes it is sequential - the primary turbo (right hand side looking from front) is in operation alone till about 4000 rpm. Then both primary and secondary work in tandom.
The turbo's are situated either side of the intercooler. They are both connected to the exhaust via a common pipe. They force charged air into the intercooler seperately.
2. What other parts would need to be modifed to make the engine fit?
Well ECU, Hoodscoop for intercooler of course - my understanding is that the main prob is clearence between the turbo and brake booster.
