Just bought a 02 wrx and i unbolted the exhaust can in the rear and left everything else on would this give me any problems?

 

You unbolted what on the rear? The muffler? From the cat back? So if I read you post correctly you want to know if it's ok to run without a muffler. Well, you might want to ask the cop that when he pulls you over for a loud exhaust. And no, it won't do anything to your car. It will run fine.
