K so I have a 2002 impreza Wrx and I'm having problems with it . After driving for a couple of minutes if you drive it hard it starts to stumble and hesitate and will stall out if you don't keep the Rpm level up which at this point is idling when stopped around 200 to 400 rpm. I recently changed the oil supply line to the turbo and than started the car and oil started gushing out of a hole above the stock out supply inlet to the turbo . So this was happening at the end of line that's coming from the engine. I lost around like 4 quarts of oil in like 2 mins because of that. Anyways the hole that was there I plugged up with a washer and hex bolt. Does anyone know what is supposed to be connected in this spot. To me I feel like maybe this is the root of the problem like maybe the oil that was supposed to come out that hole is now backing up into the motor and causing problems. I have pictures of the spot i blocked up in my photos on the thread to show what I'm talking about. Please if you have any info let me know, I'm totally stumped on this right now. Thank you in advance. In the second photo the spot I'm talking about is the bolt on the right that's lower in the engine bay

 

google ken gilbert. he has IIRC all Subaru OEM service manuals. Subaru has one of the biggest service manuals out there. A complete toyota servce manual is about the same size in pages as lets say the "Chassis" portion of the manual. the entire Suby manual is acutally comprised of 5-9? books and is BAAANK. download what you need or all of it from that site. hope that helps
