ECU=Pissing me off
When I first got my car, it boosted close to the .1bar in every gear. Now, in first gear, it goes no higher then .6. Second gear, a little bit higher, and third through fifth seem fine. I have tried every method of resetting the ECU that I have read and it still wont boost up to .1. Can someone please tell me what the hell the problem is. Its just a little bit annoying
there's nothing wrong w/ur car, that's how it shoulda came.....boost is limited in first and second, just as you describe. but not sure why it was hitting full boost and now it tappered off, maybe cuz you've been taking it easy on throttle?
there are some car who's ecu will allow full boost in all gear. for some reason, mine does......definitely not complaining

There is not enough load in the lower gears to get full boost in the WRX. Now if you get an aftermarket boost controller, you can force it too
To verify that your car is making the right amount of boost you need to do either a 3rd or 4th gear pull and see where the boost is at at around 4k RPM. It should be at the 13psi .or .1 Mpa range in your case.
Until then it's normal as stated above by capt'n'caveman
