E85/Oil leak advise
I'M FINALLY GOING E85!!!
I have an appointment with EQ on the 16th to have some parts installed and then for the retune, I'm going E85. Going to bring along some E85 in the big big jugs!
WOOOO!
Just wondering, is there anything I need to worry about when I make ~300WHP or maybe even more. Will my stock 5-speed tranny hold up?
Also, I had an oil leak issue before after I had hengmen install a bunch of new parts for me, so I had my friend at subaru redo the oilpan sealant. It seems to still be leaking. It's not a major leak where oil is constantly dripping but over time the oil droplets build up like water droplets and fall off. Any input on that?
THanks!

Another question for you E85 folks...
With your setup on E85, how do you guys get smogged with all your mods?
Some people have told me to run on dual maps, but I don't have sufficient funds to run dual maps on 91/E85 and I don't see how running dual maps would help anyways.
BUMP!

I'm running 330whp 315whp on my 100,000 5-speed with e-85 more than a year now. Got tuned with ED. No problems at all! I go to the track, bang gears all the time. No problems!!!
I'm going 350whp+ on feb 11 with my 5-speed and again tuned by Ed. (will be nice to my tranny, NO HARD SHIFTING. Just 2 and 3 gear pulls
Ps- carefull about bringing lots of gas with you. It's illegal to bring more than 15 gal of haz waste without a special licence! Also you'll be fill up in concord?

HOLY MOLY!
SO MANY REPLIES IN SUCH A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME!
Didn't mean all caps, haha.
Okay, E85 FTW!
I didn't think about that, but I'm only going to bring one of those 15gallon jugs with me, or however big those really big jugs are.
I don't plan on smashing through the gears....maybe a bit.....OK OK....sometimes =] =]...so from what some of you tell me, I should be okay as long as I don't go crazy , ehh?
