already ordered my wheels and tires.........they'll be in soon. i don't plan on doing much to the body.......i'm gonna keep that part mostly stock looking cause i use the car for bizz trips. but i'm gonna do my best to get as much power as i can outta the engine while still being able to drive it everyday.
i plan on waiting for the odometer to hit 15 to 20 thousand before i do anything serious to the motor......i wanna be sure that there is nothing wrong......i'd hate to have something serious happen and end up without a warrenty....that would suck!!!
i ordered a turbo XS exhaust today, and i'll order the downpipe at the end of the month.....i looked into a UTEC and was wondering if you guys had any advice on those.....what's the best way to set them up....ie.....should i have an uppipe and intake before i do that???? is there any rythme and rhyme to working the engine......i mean.......are there any mods that i should do before others?????? crawl before i run...ya know!

Just an observation to tell:
A friend of mine had TurboXS RFL on his MR2 and since then he's been having engine stalls whenever he lifts the clutch and pedal together.
ie. when the turbo is working hard to boost air and you close the throttle AND lift clutch, letting the crank spinning (thus in need of air), the engine chokes.
I am not an expert so can't be 100% sure but i very much believe the RFL is too extreme in design such that when it vents off air, the air current is too strong that even air that is supposed to go in the throttle is pulled out, choking the engine.
He had been tuning for months to get the RFL work fine for him.
Again this is MR2. But I dare not recommend the RFL to anyone after seeing my friend's frustrating face for months. Good luck.

The UTEC is totally awesome and definately worth the money. You will actually net more power out of the UTEC than the turbo back exhaust. The UTEC will handle any mod with the proper tuning. As you already bought their TBE you would be running their stage 2 map. When you order the UTEC they will ship it with that map installed. If you are running 91 octane you will have to slightly detune the map. I would also switch to closed loop boost control (stock maps are open loop) as the boost control is much more accurate and consistent between gears.
