I've been brainstorming about what to do with my car.. I'm modding the hell out'v it and I'm looking at different header designs and turbos etc. I saw the the forced air twin turbo kit and had an idea.. if the two turbos were twin scrolls the exhaust manifolds could be way simplified.

tell me if I've got it all wrong, but I imagine cylinders 1 & 2 could have a straight shot at one tubo on the left and 3 & 4 would have the same thing on the right.

where as with two single scroll turbos you'd want to bring 1 & 3 together and 2 & 4 together.

I made a little sketch and it looks so efficient that way. if the entire engine were upside down the plumbing for a front mount ic would be just as clean, but I think that would cause a ****load of other problems to solve.

 

Unless you're loaded sounds like too much $

 

hrmm......i kinda like the idea, for once the lag on our cars might be decent.:banana:
