Thumbs up DC user

VillainX,
I currently have the DC uppipe, downpipe & exhaust (on my '05 WRX). I didn't install the uppipe yet but the downpipe & exhaust are doing great. The DC (cat-less) downpipe is nice, definately an improvement over stock but I would assume anything is better than the heavy, severely-restricted, catted OE downpipe just by looking at it. The DC DP inlet is just a normal round style. It is not the bell-mouth design like on an APS or Invidia downpipe. I'm not sure how much that really matters though. DC products have always been good quality IMO. DC's not the best but they're definately not the worst either. I'm thinking about getting their headers and then installing the uppipe at the same time.

Did you install the uppipe yet? If so, how was/is it?

ive read that the DC catback has alot of rusting problems... how is yours holding up?
Think you can post a couple pics of your setup?

When you say the DC downpipe isnt a bellmouth are you saying it has a flat plate behind the wastegate like the stocker and HKS?

Cool

Tomasu,
There is not really any rust on the tubing anywhere (yet) but the flanges (and hardware) at both ends of the midpipe have started to rust pretty quickly but I attributed most of that to the crazy amounts of salt that Ohio DOT loves to use in the winter. I'm also kind of a clean freak so I'll usually clean the rear section with each car wash so that helps.

Correct on the downpipe. The wastegate side is totally blocked off. I'm not sure what style the HKS downpipe is. The HKS DP images I saw on google were the open bellmouth style (similar to Invidia or Helix).

Here's a couple pics.

i have the DP... the only issue i had was with the sensor fix... the bungs kinda extend a bit too far out and into the body... so screwing in the sensor was a bit of a pain
