Custom cats

Do you think that is possible to have custom 3inch cats made to mate to my helix DP so that I can pass california emissions when i come back? I was thinking like 3 cats then a straight pipe..

Hmm good question, although I don't believe you will need 3 cats to pass emmissions here. You should only need two tops. The straight pipe will not pass the visual inspection, though. As for the 3 inch cat, maybe you could steal one from a diesel truck or something..? I know my dad's 04 Ram Cummins diesel runs 3 inch exhaust all the way back. What are you thinking?

Even if you replace your stock up pipe with an aftermarket catless pipe you will still be able to pass emmissions, as long as you warm the car up first. The pre cat (cat in the uppy) is only there for cold starts.

One cat might be stretching it, but it does depend how good it is. 1 highflow?...no. 2 you will definately pass with (just like the stock dp).
