COBB turbo back

FYI I just got emailed about a turbo back for my 04' wrx. He said in the email that they will be selling a turbo back that will be tuned with the stage two ECU reflash. Just for any one looking to mildly bump up their wrx with all COBB parts.

Wow. To think I gave up my Cobb-whorishness when I sold their catback. I figured their turboback would be a ways out.

Sales at COBB said end of feb first of march. If stromung makes it i don't see any reason for delay. unless COBB is waiting for the ACCESSecu unit to be ready so they can sell their stage two map as a package with the exhaust.

Any idea on how much cash the turbo back is going to cost? I want the stage one ecu reflash to start, but I am sure I will want the stage 2 and turbo back shortly after that.

Depending on when you want the stage one just buy the new ACCESSport unit that COBB sells. It's 160$ more than the reflash but it is cool becuse you can change your map at will. Also they can send you new maps through your pc. They are taking advance orders, go to COBB's wrxforum and you will find the advance order link. They will be selling these in feb.

also no word on how much the turbo back will be. I hope it will be competetive with txs, helix, hks and all the others.

I spoke with someone at Cobb who told me that their new downpipe will have a cast turbo flange like the APS but with no splitter in the bellmouth and that their steel/hi-flow cat would be in the midpipe.

I have read up a good bit on wrxforum.com and cobbtuning.com. I am sold on the AccessECU. I was considering the AccessPort as well, but my car only has 3,XXX miles on it right now. I am thinking of doing the accessEcu and then paying the $160 upgrade for the AccessPort later on. I am curious to see how people like it, and if there are any bugs prior to going for it. After I get some more miles on the car (and money in the wallet), I would like to go to the stage2 with the Turbo back. I am just trying to plan my upgrade path at this point.

Thanks for all the info!

Go to Cobbtuning.com. They have no info on the turbo back but you can email or call their sales dept for info. The email took about two weeks so if you want instant results i'd call em.
