Cel --p0245

i just got back and the CEL code is P0245, it said turbo wastegate solenoid A low... i just installed the greddy profec b spec 2 and it has to be with that, the way i went to install it went i took the stock solenoid completely out, then put in the greddy one, i ran the hose from the turbo with the little brass pellet restrictor to the NO slot on the solenoid, and ran the wastegate actuator to the COM. did i do this right or should they be opposite, any suggestions on how to fix it?

When you say "took the stock solenoid completely out" , you have taken the whole aparatus out of the engine bay, disconnecting the harness? If so, that's what the CEL is from. You need to trick the ECU into thinking the BCS is still there. I believe you can put a 10kohm@0.5w resistor across the remaining harness. It will keep the ECU thinking the BCS is still there. So install the resistor (pick it up at Radio Shack, etc). Reset the ECU ( unhook neg batt terminal and step on the brake for 15 seconds) or use a OBDII code reader to reset the CEL. Go for a drive. Shouldn't com back
