Which cel fix for a P0546?

Ok, now im sure most of you have had the same problem. Ive had a borla hush full cat-back now for about a little over a year. I have had no cel problems untill I was in a accident and the car was rebuilt a little. Now I have the CEL light on so I went to get the code read and they told me it came up as "P0546 - Voltage signal from exhaust gas temper sensor in bank 1 is to high for current engine operating conditions." Now im pretty sure this is happending because of the catless exhaust. what would u suggest, I pulled this site off i-club but I would like some feedback.

I wouldn't think the dp-catback had anything to do with it. Put in a 2.2k resistor, reset your ecu and post the results.

So the reason that my CEL light is going off is not because of the EGT being to high, even when thats what the code says? I do not have a downpipe, only a catback and an uppipe

I just posted a CEL fix tutorial with pics for code P0546.

I just did the resistor mod recently after my EGT sensor failed in my catless uppipe.
