I am trying to get rid of this CEL on my MY02 WRX. I have TurboXS up-pipe and TurboXS Turbo back exhaust.
I have already gotten rid of the CAT efficiency CEL.
I went by radio shack and picked up some 2.2k-Ohm 1/2 Watt resistors to rig the connector for the stock EGT probe in the up-pipe.
I have seen a picture before and I'm not able to find it now. Does anyone have a picture or can tell me where this would be located?

Below the passenger strut tower. . take off the plastic cover. It should be the lowest plug under the cover. You can follow the wire to make sure it goes to the EGT gauge in the uppipe. Just unplug it and stick the resistor in the ECU end. Cover both ends with electrical tape and secure the loose end of the EGT gauge.
