i installed a turboxs catless up-pipe, and turbo back with test pipe on my 05 wrx about a month and a half ago and only got a CEL tonight. Its been about 1000 miles since the install too and this is the first sign of the known catless CEL's but im wondering what took so long??? ehhh ill see if it fixes itself or i might have to actually do something about it myself!! just wondering if anyone else had the same long delay...i was actually expecting it after 2-5 days after install and it never came. WTF! well let me know if you had the same prob, or maybe this CEL is for something else?? the car has jus passed 3200 miles and has been switched over to Mobil 1 synthetic at about 2900 miles.

 

I installed a cat-less downpipe a few months back when my car had about 36,000 miles on it. All I did was reconnect the stock o2 sensor back up to the downpipe and it didn't flip my cel until about a few weeks later. I never did figure out why it was delayed but I mechanically rigged it and the cel hasn't come back on since.

 

Have someone read the actual code. It might be something else.
