I have one installed and if you look at it closely the ends have been sealed with some material, I don't think you are supposed to open it up. Another thing that tells me that is the fact they used those "Safety Torx" bolts to hold the ends on.

I have a question for you. What hardware did you get with yours? I got 2 threaded nipples that go in the can lots of hose clamps and the parts for the site glass. Also the mounting bracket and it's bolts.

Just a watch out: I found that the large hose didn't really fit well on one of the nipples to the can. So I cut a small section of the smaller hose and put it in the end of the larger hose then put it on the can. It sealed better for me that way.

Helix? I'd guess you bought it from a vendor, as opposed to eBay? If so how about asking the vendorand letting us know? I'm going to get a can soon myself.

thanks for the reply, i pretty much have the same hardware like you. but isn't there a bigger nipple for the big hose to fit?? i have 2 big nipples for the bigger hose and 2 smaller ones for the small hose. How do you like the catch can is it working?? so the catch can doesn't need a foam or filter inside?? thanks
No I only got the two small nipples, I've e-mailed them and asked if there were bigger nipples or If I didn't get all the hardware (hmm sounds dirty for some reason) but I never got a reply.

But to answer your question, I don't think you need anything in the can like foam. And so far the tube feeding the can has gotten some small puddles of oil but the exit tube is clean so I assume it's working

If you don't end up using one of the big nipples could I convince you to part with one? Although my solution is working I'd like to have it done right.
