Question Question about a catch can.........

I just got a greddy catch can. It's one piece, doesn't come a part. So how do I put the condesing media in the can? Do I have to cram it through one of the small holes?

You disconnect the "gauge" and drain it from one of the nipples.

If there's nothing in there already, I'm guessing that there's gotta be some way to crack it open. Mines was sealed shut AND screwed on, which lead me to believe that maybe I didn't even need something inside of it to sponge up the oil...but I did anyhow.

There seems to be some debate weather you need to stuff the can with something. Consensus seems to be that you don't need anything though. Plus, if you stuff material through the hole, it's gonna be a pain to fish it all out when it's saturated.

Are you going to use two cans? Any pics on where you installed your can?

Was there ever any confirmation concerning the use of two "cans" on the USDM STI? I don't remember reading anything after the initial discussion a while back.

I was looking again but for some reason I can't find that post

I may be mistaken but IIRC it was IMPREZER who posted about needing 2 cans. Maybe he could shed more light on this.
