oil catch can question

oil catch can question

i'm planning on buying an oil catch can from 500whp.com and one of the options is 9mm or 15mm hose/fittings. i just have an uppipe, downpipe, cat-back and bov. what size hose/fittings is recommended?

if I'm not mistaken you'll need the 15mm since the other hoses you'll be connecting to should be approximately that size

Get the 9MM that is what size it is comming off of the crank case vents I think. 15 is way to big for that.

well choose whatever one you want. I used 15mm or 1/2" ID for everything for my catch can. I did however when I bought my catch can got both 9mm and 15mm but it also can with an pipe reducer as well. I decided to take out the reducer (for the intercooler connection metal pipe) and just run 1 size

i say 9mm ....i got the Cusco can and it came with 15mm hoses needless to say i had to do a DIY hose kit...it came out alright i think, hehe.

Yeah I have the greddy one with the 15mm and it sucks because the hose is much bigger than it is anywhere on the car.

i hear yah.... i tried to hook it up with the 15mm and showed my wife and she was like.."dayam thise hoses are FAT!" lol....so i showed mmy friens and even they were like WTF is that?! haha ....needless to say i changed those out for 9mm hoses...
