until heat soak kicks the IC's a$$ it does seemd faster to me too. It's a bit harder to tell in the colder months and it's really easy to tell in the morning when it's still cool.

Try installing an IC sprayer. worked great for me.

Engines do run better in the cold, but mine runs really really rich when its very cold out too. For the first couple minutes at least.

How do you know its running rich when its cold? Smell? The ECU should be compensating for this mostly in fuel delivery, if not also your EGR valve. The smell would be from the cats being too cold and not doing their work yet.

And you'll be replacing your turbo sooner. Oh how I wish I had an oil temp guage rather than an oil pressure gauge.
