Can TurboXS BOVs open at full boost?
I just installed 2 Type H BOVs in my S4. The car runs great and I definitely feel less lag. But when Im at WOT and full boost I hear a loud WHOOOSH, like air is leaking. Im guessing its the BOVs opening. Is this possible if the spring tension isnt strong enough? I havent put in any adjusting washer to strengthen it so could this be happening even with any vacuum?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Definitely sounds like your bov is leaking. If you want to be really **** about figuring it out, you could tape a hose near the BOV outlet and run the hose into the car; put your ear to the hose and see if the sound is coming from there.
Or you could just tighten/shim it up a notch at a time and see if the sound goes away.

See here is exactly what happened to my car when i took it to the track. Mine was obviuosly leaking boost, cause i could hear it, and I only ran a 14.7, and believe me, the 60ft, and everything initial shows a very strong run before the boost really builds. Then it just goes out the window with a 14.7!~!~! Dump that BOV, and get aGFB, or run the stock bypass...you arent the only one with BOV woes.
