Try much more tape and be as thorough as possible with choosing places to wrap it. Get every part of that hose that you can and if you find anything else you can wrap to keep the hose cooler, wrap it. remember the tape will stop the transfer of heat from hotter to colder places (i dont know engine compartments too well) so if you can wrap it around anything else to keep that A/C line cooler and slow the transfer of heat to the line it'll help out.
