Bought a new 05 wrx
Hi my name is scott I am 17 years old. I just got myself a brand new 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX. I really don't know much about these cars so I have a couple questions to ask. What numbers are people dynoing at? What's the 0-60 and quarter mile on a stock 05 wrx? Thanks.

Sorry to resurrect this old post, but I just got Protuned (COBB AccessPort) at Gruppe-S today and Mike got my 2004 WRX to dyno at 200.4 whp / 194.9 ft-lbs. Mods are: Bosal uppipe, Prodrive 3CE, STI axelback (OEM), Vishnu underdrive pulley, Vishnu IC hoses, K&N drop-in filter, and GP Moto intake elbow silencer delete.
Feels stronger throughout the powerband, very linear, and kicked the boost up to about 14.5lbs boost with some occasional spikes to 15-16lbs. I'm very happy with the results.

I orignally was following the Vishnu Stage Zero path but when the COBB Protuner came about, I thought that was a more flexible method of ECU tuning and went that way instead. Considering the Gruppe-S dyno rates stock WRX cars at about 160hp (227 at the crank) and I dyno'ed at about 200, that makes make at about 280 crank HP which is right on par with Vishnu's Stage-0. Great stealthy power...
