That is a pretty good amount of flow, but what kind of fuel mgmt do you need for 25 psi ?

there's a dude that goes by amelnikov on here who i think put a 16G in a stock housing and it sounded pretty awesome.

also, that dry center section's gotta be pretty hard on lag. and it must also get pretty hot. can you explain what lubricates and cools the bearings and what type of bearing is used? i've never heard of a turbo for our cars that doesn't use either oil or coolant, so i'm a bit confused as to how such a thing is possible.

and this is a mitsubishi turbo? my brain is failing me right now but the td04L on our cars is a mitsu turbo, no? man i must've forgotten to take my smart pills or something.

so can anybody answer my questions about the dry center sections? i would imagine that the tradeoff would be cheaper for slower spool? how much are you guys paying for these 18Gs?

well, mister grocerymax, what i wrote was actually not a statement, but rather a question. hence the QUESTION MARK.

you state that you need to loop the coolant hose and use a banjo bolt for the oil. so does that mean that the center section does use an oil feed?

so dry doesn't really mean dry. there is oil running through the turbo, just no coolant.

silverscooby, how does the car feel with the new turbo? have you already upgraded your fuel system? when you get it tuned, please be sure to post dyno graphs, we are all very interested.
