Blown up ! help!

I need to make a decision within a day or two. My car is now in the shop with the engine taken out of it. I am looking for a quick fix. Basically my car I failed to change the oil in time and I threw a rod! I was wondering if this block would fit on my 04 wrx 2.0 litre ... and are there any benefits of this block over the stock one.. If any one else has any other suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for you time. Would I need any other parts or is this a straight drop in? Thanks again guys!
