Blitz Recirculating BOV how-to

I was bored yesterday, so I decided to convert my Blitz DD BOV to a 100% recirculating type. For those that don't know, the stock bypass valve works fine, this is just for those who want something different. First, I dissassembled the Blitz BOV and the stock valve:

Two things need to be done. First the stock recirculating fitting needs to be ground flush to mate up to the Blitz unit. Here it is half way done:

The second thing you need to do is rotate the blitz BOV about 135 degrees clockwise. The outlet of the bov should be parallel to the bottom left side of the mounting flange. Here is a bottom view of the flange with the new holes drilled and counter sunk:

So far so good. You may need to file the holes in the stock recirculating fitting just a bit to get them to line up, otherwise everything should bolt together like this:

Uhoh, it's getting dark, I better hurry before the monsters come out. Here is the modified BOV on the I/C:

Finally put it back in the car. I found it is easier to put the BOV in first, then the I/C, and finally put the two together. Have fun!

So what's the difference in sound between the Blitz recirc and non-recirc and stock and blitz recirc?

Stock recirculating and Blitz recirculating sound about the same... That is, you can't hear much.

Thanks. From what I know there is no Blitz 50/50 recirculation fitting. Actually, I was going to put the stock valve back on, but I wanted to see if I could still use the Blitz first. Function over form, but it's nice to have some bling bling.
