Bellmouth or divorced wastegate DP?

Just wondering what scooby tuners prefer for better end results. A bellmouth or divorced wastegate down pipe?

I have a helix bellmouth and am satisfied with it.

You will see a trend, just about 7/8 of the manufacturers of downpipes go with a large bellmouth while the other 1/8 goes with the divorced wastegate. It depends on the tuners you talk to, if you go to Vishnu they make a divorceced wastegate formation because of flow pattern. Others go with the bellmouth because of backpressure issues that tend to follow (while not much) with the divorced wastegate.

Do some research on the subject.

I was actually gonna get the Helix DP until I started to research a little more about pipes with a divorced wastegate like the perrin and the vishnu. I think in when Im ready I'll still end up with a bellmouth. Thanks For the suggestion.

I think Vishnu uses a bellmouth for the sti but divorced for the WRX. Might want to check with them. Also in my opinion anytime a tuner that dyno tunes their products are going to be able to back up their claims better than companies that just produce them.

it all depends on what turbo you want to get...if you are getting a vf series i would get the divorced, my bellmouth and full catless allows for mad boost creep...still combating the problem...good luck
