Cel, no performance issues. If the cel bothers you put a 2.2kohm resistor(i believe) in the plug for the egt probe, tape it or heatshrink it to keep it dry. I have AP so no need for resistor. I just put some dielectric grease in the plug and heatshrunk it. I also plugged the egt bung in my helix flex. I found my uppie on ebay new for $100 with new gaskets.

Scoobymods.com has great uppie installation intructions. use the ones for the Perrin uppipe.

i heard alot of bad things about gutting out the precat... wouldnt reccomend it, catless upppies arent too much id consider one of those first, and the 2.2k resistor is easy as hell to do, also, if u havent already bought ur utec, consider the accessport, i use that, i love it.
