From what I've heard, Perrin is one of the best panel filters available. Green makes an excellent panel filter too.
BTW, who's going to see the air filter when it's in use?

I've had this filter for about 3,500 miles. It has a nice dark patch of dust in the middle of the "P" -- which is a good thing. It seems to get dirtier much faster than the paper filters did, and the more dirt on the filter, the less dirt in my engine. It fits the stock 02 airbox perfectly.
However, there is a downside -- the recommended cleaning kit (mentioned on the Perrin web site) is really tough to find; I've only been able to find it at ONE online store, and for $8.99 minimum shipping.

Hmm using the K&N kit works? The Perrin is a foam filter, very different than the screen mesh of the K&N... I've been worried that it would cause the foam to break down (don't want a chunk of foam sucked into my turbo!)... I'm going to keep searching for that "UNI" kit that Perrin recommends on their web site.

Guy's..... You can try www.turbometrics.com. They have it in stock!
I was actually talking it over with a couple of buddies this weekend and believe it or not the UNI filter cleaning system is nothing more than brake cleaner and "PAM".... Yes I said PAM.
I was shocked also....!
